PEW rectangular aluminum insulation wire called polyester enamelled flat aluminum wire is a winding wire commonly used in electrical equipment such as motors, transformers and inductors. Its structure includes a conductive material (usually copper or aluminum) and a layer of polyester insulation coating, which has good heat resistance and insulation properties.

Polyester enamelled wire is composed of aluminum conductor and polyester resin. During the production process, the bare copper wire is annealed and softened, and then coated with polyester paint and baked several times to form a uniform insulating paint film.

Heat resistance grade
The heat resistance grade of ordinary polyester enameled aluminum wire is 130, and after modification, the heat resistance grade can reach 155. This means that polyester enameled wire can be used for a long time at higher temperatures without losing its performance.

Difference from polyurethane enameled wire
Compared with polyurethane enameled wire, polyester enameled wire has higher mechanical strength and heat resistance, but polyurethane enameled wire is favored for its direct welding, high frequency resistance and easy coloring. Polyurethane enameled wire has a higher heat resistance level, which can reach 180 level, while polyester enameled wire is mainly used in 130 and 155 level applications.
